Michael Moraites

The Art of Michael Moraites has evolved through several mediums spanning over three decades to the unique combination of the limestone coral and delicate glass creations being shown today.  The underwater seascapes are always one of a kind.   

 

After growing up in New Hampshire, he began his career with an interest in painting, studying at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. 

 

Relocating to South Florida over 27 years ago, led to continuing studies with numerous local artists and experiences with both scientific glass (Pyrex) and furnace blown hot glass. 

 

Creating art with glass has only intensified and elevated his passion for over 19 years.
